Dr. O’Donnell respects the power of dental fear. It stops people from going to the dentist, and that can have a major impact on the health of your teeth, your physical health and your mental outlook.

He is happy to offer sedation, or gentle dentistry which will allow you to experience dentistry in a whole new way. While engaging in a pleasant sleep-like experience, Dr. O’Donnell will be hard at work making sure you ‘wake up’ with the beautiful new smile and results you desire.

The ability to build rapport with patients is critical to the gentle dentistry concept. Dr. O’Donnell places great emphasis on spending more time with his patients, discovering more about how they want to be treated and ensuring that they feel comfortable before the treatment progresses. For some dental phobic patients, small steps matter a great deal and they may need to schedule their treatment over a number of visits. For others, their phobia means that they just want their treatment over and done with as soon as possible – so they need their treatment compressed into just one visit. Dr. O’Donnell is happy to accommodate.
